Usability Test
Our usability tests show how your customers interact with your product in reality. You will be surprized, what they have to say about your product... How does it work?
One of our usability experts confronts the testperson with your product at our testing lab. The testuser tries to solve concrete tasks (e.g. "Search for information about DVD-Player"). Cameras record both the intervew and the content shown at the screen (picture-in-picture). A special monitor will also record the eye movements of the test users. The moderator tries to find out about the user's mental model (understanding, perception and desires of the customer).Scope of Application
Usability testing is helpful in any project phase. We are doing testing of design suggestions (e.g. scribbles), simple prototyps as well as finalized products.Our huge testperson pool contains subjects of nearly any target group.

Results
The test sessions will be analyzed by our usability experts and summarized in a report and/or presentation.You get a highlight-dvd containing the most important scenes of the tests. You have also the chance to watch all test sessions in our observation room.

Sample
Depending on the task formulation we work with 5 to 10 testpersons. With 5 Testpersons on the average usability engineers can uncover 85% of usability problems, with 10 test persons appr. 98% are found. More test persons can be necessary if the target groups differ substantially. We recruit test persons from our test person database (at date more than 3000 entries).Time frame
Depending on the test type you get the results between a few days or appr. two weeks.
